- If they don't respond, we'll restore your content within 10–14 business days
- If they sue, your content remains removed pending court order
3. Repeat Infringer Policy
Users who repeatedly upload infringing content will have their accounts suspended or terminated. We track valid DMCA notices, patterns of copyright violations, and good faith counter-notices vs. blatant infringement.
4. False Claims
Filing false DMCA notices is illegal and subject to damages. We may report false claims to authorities, including law enforcement, the copyright claimant for defamation, and your internet service provider. Users filing multiple false claims will be permanently banned.
5. Fair Use
Content is not automatically infringing just because it includes copyrighted material. Fair use includes criticism or commentary, news reporting, parody, education, and research. If your content is fair use, explain this clearly in a counter-notice.
6. Dispute Resolution
We encourage parties to contact us before pursuing legal action. We can often resolve disputes through verification of ownership claims, licensing clarification, proper attribution, or settlement negotiation. Both parties agree to dispute resolution in the Northern District of Texas federal court, under Texas law.
7. No Automatic Removal
Important: We do not automatically remove content based on automated claims (bots, algorithms), unverified reports, or third-party platform claims. We investigate each claim and remove only content that clearly violates copyright law and our policies.
